This Book helped me read when growing up and to this day has a very powerful hidden message that never ages

This Book helped me read when growing up and to this day has a very powerful hidden message that never ages. It could have easily been titled, Mrs. Smith and Her Golden child. So Don't try!!) I won't ruin the ending but I've seen this happen in real life and often find myself quoting the book "Not My Crocodile" only problem is, not many people know what I mean.

Mrs Smith's Crocodile. This story features Sweetypie, who is owned by Mrs Smith. These books contain specially devised questions, puzzles and activities to develop listening or reading skills, depending on the level of the children. By (author) Linda Dearsley, Illustrated by Frank Rodgers. Mrs Smith thinks Sweetypie is too sweet to hurt anyone or anything. But Sweetypie grows bigger and bigger, and as he does, so does his appetite. These materials should provide a stimulus for interactive speaking skills, whether children can read or not. They also allow for controlled grammar to be reinforced in context.

Behind all these picture book crocodiles lurks the shadow of the tick-tock crocodile who so haunts Captain James . An old favourite of mine to read for storytime at the library: Mrs Smith’s Crocodile by Linda Dearsley and Frank Rodgers. Palace Librarians (@LCS Library).
