1996) With Replies from Russell Stannard (A book in the Uncle Albert series) A non fiction book by Russell Stannard.

Book by Stannard, Russell. The Uncle Albert series is fantastic to talk science with kids and get into experimenting. It has many levels to engage, so you can read this multiple times at different age levels and it always reveals new stuff. my 7 year old loves them.

Russell Stannard is a retired high-energy particle physicist, who was born in London, England, on 24 December 1931. He currently holds the position of Professor Emeritus of Physics at the Open University. In 1986, he was awarded the Templeton UK Project Award for "significant contributions to the field of spiritual values; in particular for contributions to greater understanding of science and religion".

Russell Banks is one of America's most prestigious fiction writers, a past president of the International Parliament of Writers, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. An important novel because of the precise manner in which it reflects the spiritual yearning and materialistic frenzy of our contemporary life.

Drawing on years of teaching experience and research, the author answers 60 letters on a range of topics relating to astronomy and theoology, from children between the ages of 5 and 15. They ask, for instance, what the sun is made of, whether the moon comes out during the day, whether we would go back in time if the Earth's rotation reversed, why God doesn't fall out of the sky, how many space aliens there are and where they live, and whether animals go to Heaven.
