As always Thomas Kinkade produced a magnificant history book for a child. There are 26 pages with Kinkade's artwork (most featuring cottages- while pretty and quaint they have nothing to do with a new baby) and even more pages with poetry and prose (all having to do with a baby- there's just too much). There is so much going on in this book- artwork, silhouettes of children, poetry and Bible verses that there just isn't enough space to focus on your new baby.

A Child's Garden of Verses is a collection of poetry for children by the Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson, a collection that concerns childhood, illness, play, and solitude.
