I love eric carle anything! but I am giving these a 4 star because they are tiny! Not sure why they made them so small, but I did keep them. The writing is terrible and the stories are dreadful. The moral of one is basically, following your dreams is hard, so you should just give up.

I bought this for my one year old and even though I liked the book, he really didn't have much interest. I would suggest purchasing this for an older child. The pages are paper in each mini book and the stories are a little longer than what a toddler is used to. Very cute pop out pictures in some of the books though and colorful detail to it.

These books are adorable but I was disappointed that the pages are not board books pages. The covers are hard but the pages are paper. My toddler will surely tear the pages when trying to look at them so for now, these are back on the shelf. They are also smaller than other books she has and for the price I wouldn't mind them being a tad bigger.

Painshade

Like others, I misunderstood the format and thought these were true board books. They are too fragile and long for babies, not to mention stiff and small, so they'll have to be saved for when she's a few years older. Disappointed, but the stories are good for older kids.

Bought this for my son and I think it was a good buy. It's a small, almost mini book set but it's good quality and we love the stories. Great for a kids collection, only I wish they were board books instead of paper pages. Still good, worth buying for your little Eric Carle fan!

I love eric carle anything! but I am giving these a 4 star because they are tiny! Not sure why they made them so small, but I did keep them. Also, the books are each hard cover but the pages are paper, so I won't be able to let my son view them unsupervised or they won't last 5 minutes!

Hawk Flying

While I love some of the books of Eric Carl, these are absolutely awful! I'm seriously shocked by the reviews here! I was certain that these were some fake knock offs. The writing is terrible and the stories are dreadful. The moral of one is basically, following your dreams is hard, so you should just give up. Please please please, for the sake of your children and all that's right in the world, don't buy these books!

These are smaller than I expected. They are actually really tiny, but my niece will still love them. A plus side to the bite size books is the ability to take them along with you where ever you go.

These are pretty tiny with pretty tiny print, a child wild need decent fine motor skills and they’re really for reading on their own not with someone or to be read to
