She matches manageable quotes from Ruskin with his often exquisite drawings, and her own immaculate photographs. It is the friendliest companion to prop up with you, at the prow of a water bus travelling the length of the Grand Canal. -Maev Kennedy, The Guardian. Anthologising Ruskin for today s audience is a difficult and daunting task, but one brilliantly carried out by Sarah Quill in this book. -Geographical Magazine.

Turner in which he argued that the principal role of the artist is "truth to nature. John James was born and brought up in Edinburgh, Scotland, to a mother from Glenluce and a father originally from Hertfordshire. Lesbian Fiction.
  • Alex is a US Marshall. Rhonda is a super model/actress. During the story line you learn they have been friends since very early in life. The characters made me feel like I was visiting old friends. There is a part in the story that I thought was just funny funny funny. If you ever played word games as a kid or with your kids this one was just soo original. I liked it. I like the whole story. Wish it got steamier at the end but that might be why there is a sequel. Alex does get the witness to the grand jury. And the bad guy gets caught BUT.. read the sequel

  • I bought and read the original so when I saw the author had released a second edition I decided to see if it were really any different. Unlike some so-called revised or second editions, this book has obviously been completely redone from the first paragraph forward. Making Alex a Deputy US Marshal was only the beginning. The author has added more depth to the relationship between the two main characters, told us a lot more about the witness and made me hate Mickey Lawton all the more. The added scenes and chapters along with all the other changes and additions have made a good book into a great book, in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this book.

  • I found this book to be an easy read with a lot of entertainment value. The author made me smile and, at times, laugh out loud. Well worth the bucks.

  • I have read the original version of this book and loved it, now I hear there is a new one out and I really can't wait to get my hands on it. If you want an adventure with a touch of romance this is it! I am happy to say I have read this one and a second book Ms. Ruskin has out titled Mysti: Mistress of Dreams. Umm, you might want to bring the ice for that one <G>.
