The best thing about this book is that it's short and easy to finish. Still, if you're a procrastinator, I don't think it will help you a whole lot. The rules are basic, what do you have to do to stop procrastinating?

The best thing about this book is that it's short and easy to finish. The rules are basic, what do you have to do to stop procrastinating? It's easy; you have to make a decision that you are going to do the things that are important for you and do them. That's what this book says for most of the book. It's good advice, I would have to say, that's exactly the same advice that I would give to someone who wants to stop procrastinating.

I learned few new things from this book. This was the first book about Time Managment which I read, and I think it is a good start point. Greetings from Croatia. Most important thing to remeber is that every day first you have to do the most important obligations that day. And this is true. We do the easiest things first and hardest leave for latter, and this is wrong. We have to deal with important obligations first and less important we can do if we have time.

  • surprised that I could find an old training book like this in such good shape and passed it on to one of my tutees whose only real problem is this.

  • Good book

  • The best thing about this book is that it's short and easy to finish.
Still, if you're a procrastinator, I don't think it will help you a whole lot. The rules are basic, what do you have to do to stop procrastinating? It's easy; you have to make a decision that you are going to do the things that are important for you and do them. That's what this book says for most of the book.
It's good advice, I would have to say, that's exactly the same advice that I would give to someone who wants to stop procrastinating.
On top of this, the author also gives reasons why we procrastinate, which may or may not be useful to you, it was somewhat useful to me, as it tells me that my situation is common enough to have a label. There is also a set of exercises in the book that is better than nothing at all, although a tried and true procrastinator is almost definitely going to avoid doing them.
The biggest deal with this book for me was to let me know that my procrastination problem isn't really bad at all. Some of the stories in this book were frightening, people who lose their lives over procrastination. There must be another word for procrastination, that isn't procrastination, it's much worse.

  • It is bad enough that there is no mention of attention deficit disorder, a common and treatable medical condition. That alone would merely date this publication to the stone age of psychology. What makes this one to keep away from is this: Even when it mentions other conditions like OCD and depression, it doesn't say a word about seeking help if there is evidence to suspect a medical cause underlying procrastination.
