The intro was by Les Miles (former coach). I am a LSU fan, so this was easy for me to like. For anyone who wants to understand the pull of college football, this book will provide some insight.

The individual stories from playera across three or four generations are interesting, often funny. The author is a fan as well as a journalist, and it shows. Definitely worth a read.
