  • Everything about this book is wonderful. From the illustrations to the history of this remarkable pre-ICBM, the author clearly has done his homework. It is a remarkable history. From its conception, production and launchings, this book tells it all. As with most histories of Germany, the book also discusses the mass deaths of the forced workers building the V-2 and eventual mass importation of many German scientists under Project Paperclip after WW II.

If you are also a "weaponsophilic" person like me, do not hesitate to purchase this book. It is well worth it.

  • Fantastic Read. A must have book!

  • I was disappointed to find out that the front the pages were stuck together, but after following the online instructions I was able to send for a replacement in no time and even before I sent the old book back a new one was ordered for me. All the return postage expense was covered by the reply paperwork downloaded from Amazon..From all I saw of the book briefly it shows it's an excellent overview of the V2 and it's history..plenty of photos and artwork..Can't wait for my replacement copy arriving. An e-mail arrived apologising for the problem soon after I sent for the replacement..I don't blame Amazon for this problem by the way..It happens.

  • History and testing of captured V-2 rockets and launch equipment by the British and U.S. not previously covered and available
for the research of these most important weapons.
