TOPPS BASEBALL CARDS The Complete Picture Collection: A 35 Year . Introduction and card history by Sy Berger. Foreword by Willie Mays. New York: Villard Books.

TOPPS BASEBALL CARDS The Complete Picture Collection: A 35 Year History, 1951-1985. BASEBALL cards have long had a special place in the hearts of fans. Cards have been associated with bubble gum and youngsters since the early 1930's. Before learning to ride a two-wheeler, many children become adept at trading, flipping, matching or simply collecting baseball cards. But as long ago as the 1880's, cards were packaged with cigarettes, not gum, and prized by adults more than children.

  • For all of you who had a baseball card collection and "lost it" by moving, this is the ultimate baseball card collection. A real trip down memory lane. Though its only the front of the card, it is definaly worth getting> What enjoyment!!

  • Great book, well worth the money.

  • All that I hoped it would be!

  • great book brought back tons of memeries

  • A must need book if you collect topps baseball cards.

  • I spend way too much time checking out this book.
It is the bible for baseball card collectors like myself.

  • I like this book because it has all the baseball cards reproduced, although the images are small, looks smaller than the Surf Books, but upon measuring, the size is the same. I guess they have to be small to limit the number of pages and size of book, although the book as it is is still a hefty volume. It's hard to find a bookshelf to hold it. Before each year featured it reviews the season and offers trivia too.

  • This product was better than advertised. It looks brand new and replaces the cards that were lost from years ago.

Thanks for the speedy delivery also. Best Father's Day present ever,
