  • I was pleasantly surprised when this book arrived. At first, I thought the wrong item had been sent because the box was quite heavy and huge! This is not your average quilt book; the size is 14" x 14" with beautiful, full page color plates that show in detail, the intricate Amish quilting designs of each quilt. The book also includes wonderful history of quilting in Amish communities. If you are looking for a pattern book, this is not the book for you. If you are looking for inspiration and history of the Amish and their quilts, you won't be disappointed and you will not tuck this book away on a library shelf.
