I took home The Garden Letters by Elspeth Bradbury and Judy Maddocks (Polestar) for the gardener in my family. This book looks and feels very inviting. It's a collection of letters exchanged between two avid gardeners, one in New Brunswick and one in British Columbia. It's square, like a cookbook, and the letters inside are illustrated with intricate line drawings

  • awesome little book - and great delivery time too :)

  • The Garden Letters is a delightful read, even for those of us who have brown thumbs to the elbows. It speaks to everyone with a love of growing things. With the different challenges of fecund soil, abundance of sunshine and rain and beating winds and cruel winters. Most of all it speaks of a deep and abiding friendship. This was a choice of my book club that I would not have ordinarily read, I am happy and grateful that is was chosen.
