  • This book is enjoyable and easy to read. I must say, though, that I expected the book to be a bit more academic. I am just a first-year graduate student (and not even in Cinema Studies) and I have found more in this film than the author has, although, to be fair, she has found other things that I did not notice. If you love the movie, this book will add to your enjoyment and if you are an undergrad in French Studies or Cinema Studies you will find this book useful but not dense in the way of hardcore French film theory.

  • i marked up my first book so much i had to buy another copy to keep clean. wonderful analyzation of my favorite movie "Amelie"
