This book is full of challenging games. However, I find the graphics separating the individual sum-doku cells to be quite "busy" and poorly layed out.

I have had to mark my book with a highlighter--to indicate each of the 9 cell blocks. (I get tired of re-counting where each 9-block begins and ends. Perhaps it is my old eyes, but I simply cannot see the distinguishing lines. The book can be visually challenging.

That said, the games are fun.

DJAPE publishes the best Killer Sudoku puzzles I have seen. I have tried most of the books on the market, including Michael Mephem's web packs and DJAPE's are the most fun and most challenging I have tried. His IQ level puzzles are very, very challenging and the new Zero Killer Sudoku is a fun variation. If you are tired of the standard sudoku puzzle give these a try. They are much more engaging. I can not go back to the standard puzzle after working The Killer puzzles.

I'm a big killer sudoku fan and have enjoyed the challenging puzzles in this book. There's a good variety of difficulty levels, and as someone else stated, I like the heavier paper quality.....it's not the cheaper newspaper-type. Two puzzles per page which doesn't leave much room for figuring, but I still manage to do quite a bit of math in the area available. I recommend this book.

Incredibly challenging!! I purchased Revenge of Killer Sudoku Volumes 2 and 3 first. They provided me with weeks of entertainment. This first one in the series did not disappoint either. I am a Sudoku snob, I won't touch anything easy. I don't bother with anything less than level 5 in Djape's books. From time to time I get stumped with some level 5 puzzles and had to walk away. When I returned to finish these toughies and managed to solve them, the joy was indescribable! This is a puzzle book for someone who enjoys logic and deduction. The answers don't just fall into place. That's the fun of it.

I am almost finished with this book and can't wait to move on to Zero Killer Sudoku, also by Djape. Thank you Djape, you are brilliant! And this is from some one who is not easily impressed intellectually! I so look forward to solving more puzzles composed by you!!!

I have already completed quite a few of these puzzles. I just love the gorgeous patterns I discover in different ones. I'm still finding new "laws", many quite by accident and it's a great feeling. The intro to the zero killers is fantastic. I persevered, and now look forward to finding more of these, as I've just about completed all the ones in this book. Thanks again, DJAPE!

If you enjoyed Djape's "Killer Sudoku" you will also love this book. I've tried a couple of puzzles at each level and managed (very slowly in some cases) to complete them all except for level 5 zero killer sudoku. In the zero puzzles there are only a few cages and a lot of empty space - REALLY hard, and great fun.
In general I think the puzzles (except for the zero puzzles) are slightly easier than in his last book, or maybe I'm just get used to his fiendish ways?
