  • My 4th physio class and this is by far my favorite book. It’s so simple and easy to understand. For the first time I didn’t rent a book, I actually purchased this one because I loved the way it was written!

  • This book was "required" for my physiology class. I used it for the first month of class, but I can't say that it helped in the slightest. After the first test, I never opened the book again (and I still got an A in the class).
    The problem is, it's written as if the reader already knows what it's talking about. It's not written well for people just learning and trying to understand.

  • There was very minimal writing and no marks made with anything other than a pencil. The cover was well maintained and every page was intact. It was a great purchase for the price and I was very pleased because it saved me over $100.

  • The book was hardly looked at for my class. Not the companies fault.

    It was hardcover and heavy. Worn a bit around the edges.But it served its purpose.

  • Well written, informative, and up to date. I find this book to be an excellent reference to start with when answering any of my questions on this topic. I only need to go to the research papers if I need more details, such as the data sets or the test methods used to explore the points of interest. I also enjoy the structure and pace of the teachings as well as the graphical aids. This book makes the topic fun to learn.

  • I am in my 2nd week of physio and I have tried to read this book but I feel it doesn't explain concepts very well. The chapters are long-winded and wordy and I found myself saying "get to the point, for heaven's sake!" I read another review saying they used a supplementary text to help them. I'm going to try that and hopefully it helps.
