Psychology - Textbooks. Our primary goal has been to weave critical and scientific thinking into the fabric of our writing, and today, in this era of fake news and "alternative facts," this goal is more important than ever.

Through careful and systematic presentation, modeling, and reinforcement of good scientific and critical thinking, Wade and Tavris' aim is to assess and clarify matters of direct relevance to human health, well-being, and happiness.

  • Great book. The only thing I didn't like was the useless and annoying "used book" label sticker that left a really sticky residue upon removal. It sticks to other books and papers in my back. I wish it would not have been sent that way. There are other ways to discretely label used books. A little frustrating but overall book is great! Thank you.

  • Excellent approach to understand Psychology. Finally a different angle. Never understood why every psychology book had to use the same chronological approach to "teaching" the subject. This book takes it from the perspective of studying human behavior from 5 different perspectives: Biological, Learning, Cognitive, Sociocultural and Psychodynamic. This means you can get to the section you're more interested and still get the information you require without having to get into ll the details that cover all approaches in an integrated way.

  • textbook

  • This was a required textbook for my college class. As such it did the job however the copy I received was not in fact the student version. I do not blame the book but the shipper. I had to get the book via a different source in order to have it for class on time.

  • Great!

  • As described - college text book.

  • The book is in a bad shape, under average in terms of the loose leaf. I am just renting it, but I saved pictures when I received it. I appreciate the fast shipment, it arrived faster than expected.

  • Awesome. Love this particular approach.
