Book by Key, Wilson Bryan
  • I bought this one years ago and this one is a backup. If you like to live in your safe plastic world, then don’t and mean don’t read this book. After reading this book, I trained my eyes to see what he was talking about as far as the purple ink goes and sure enough he was right. A friend of mine after reading that same book went to the local convent store bought some magazine’s and after reading we could see tons of the dirty tricks that where being used, both in print and pictures. One that stand out with me even today is having a male rock stairs head on female playboy’s body. When I read about a young man killing someone at a school, I wonder how much of his mind had been soaked subliminal messages about killing.

  • a classic book on media sexploitation. once you read this you'll never look at a magazine ad the same ever

  • Was there subliminal technology used in the movie "The Exorcist"?

I recall there were stories about the movie "The Exorcist" making people puke.

"Faint in large numbers hallucinating and extremely distraught."
Alleged use of a tachistoscope which is a film projector with a high shutter speed that flashes in the case of the movie The Exorcist death mask apparition.

A super buzzing of bees infuriated bees creates a near panic filled desire to flee and escape the threat. As well as terrified squealing of pigs and the word pig embedded.

The Exorcist silences were were not completely silent they were electronic silence.

The use of death symbol's ability to sell is a them in this book as well as his other work.

  • Key's book, published in 1976, discusses the Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper" album at some length using language remarkably similar to that in Joan Peyser's 1967 essay "The Beatles and the Beatless."
