The 12th Pennsylvania Reserve Regiment also known as the 41st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry was an infantry regiment that served in the Union Army as part of the Pennsylvania Reserves infantry division during the American Civil War. He remained with the 1st Reserves until the term of service for that regiment expired, and then he was transferred over to Company B, 191st Pennsylvania Veteran Volunteers to finish out his term of service.
