Leukemia: Progress and Controversies: Proceedings of a Wyeth-Ayerst-UCLA
Leukemia: Progress and Controversies: Proceedings of a Wyeth-Ayerst-UCLA. Symposia Western Workshop Held at Lake Lanier, Georgia, November 28-. December 1, 1989. Results of postremission chemotherapy for adults with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) were assessed in two sequential prospective studies involving similar induction therapy and two courses of intensive consolidation treatment. Fifty-six patients achieving remission on the acute leukemia protocol (ALP3) study received high-dose cytarabine and daunorubicin as course one and standard-dose cytarabine and daunorubicin as course two.

Acute Myelogenous Leukemia : Progress and Controversies. Book in the UCLA Symposia on Molecular & Cellular Biology: New Series Series). by Robert Peter Gale. The inclusion of experimental and clinical data in a single volume, together with an emphasis on recent and controversial issues, combine to make this treatise unique in its approach to acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). Investigators from diverse disciplines critically examine what is now understood about the pathogenesis of this disease and discuss new and emerging therapeutic approaches.
