The future of lung cancer therapy appears to be heading towards regimens that will integrate surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and in the not too distant future, immunotherapy, gene therapy, and other biological agents. If one accepts the notion that the care of lung cancer patients is becoming increasingly complex and often requires the input of multiple physicians, then a multidisciplinary clinic would seem to be the ideal setting for delivering this multidisciplinary care.
