I still recommend this to med students that I teach. I love that there are only 2 chapters:

1 - Cardio-Pulmonary-Renal
2 - Everything else.

Goldberg is brilliant. As Einstein said, things should be as simple as possible, but no simpler. This book hits the sweet spot..

This book was exactly what I needed to supplement my nursing text books. It offers a concise list of terminology and definitions with the readers digest explanation of function for the following areas: cell function, blood pressure, electrolytes and acid/base metabolism, evaluation of renal function, cardiac function, the respiratory system, red blood cells and blood coagulation, the immune system, neurophysiology, the digestive system the endocrine system. The funny illustrations assist as memory tools and help make sense of complex topics. It is a great test review tool.

The book shipped very quickly despite the fact that I chose standard shipping. The seller was accurate in their description of the condition of the book. I am very pleased with the book and the service.

This book was advertised as "Used but like new condition". That was a lie! Here is a description of the book I received: 1. Binding torn and front cover upper right hand corner was creased; 2. The book had five (5) different color highlight marks throughout and I mean throughout! Every page was highlighted at least 24% and most pages were highlighted 50% or more; 3. There were notes scribbled in margins, on diagrams, and charts. There were notes scribbled into blank sections throughout the book. There were even post-it stickers with notes on them stuck to pages in the book I received. "Used but like new condition"? I would rate this book as used in very poor condition. I paid the prevaling price for a "Used but like new condition" book when I should have paid the used but poor condition price. I would not recommend to any friend of mine to buy a book from BABYLONBOOKS and I would suggest that if you must buy from BABYLONBOOKS you drop their rating by one to two levels when comparing to other vendors since a lier can never be trusted again! No other book I have received from any other vendor that was rated as "Like new condition" was any where close to the poor condition of the book I recived from BABYLONBOOKS.

While I was in my A&P class, I thought this book would help with additional study. Not so much. The book is scattered around, and with what I was learning in class compared to the book, there was no match what so ever to study from.

My advice. Stick with your text anatomy book and pay attention in class. This in no way helped me study or learn more.

I give it two stars because the info is correct, but was not helpful for my intended purpose. Nor did I find it any 'simpler' than plain ol' paying attention in class.

Excellent book, everything is explained in a way that you will understand pretty easily! I just only wish it was full color, but it is not.. besides that the content is worth it! Highly recomend this book!

Would use as a supplement when reading Costanzo physiology and Guyton.
