  • I just finished this course and it has to be the worst textbook I have needed for my Health Information Technology program. Even my instructor commented on the vast mistakes with the chapters and exercises. The textbook needs to be revised ASAP and can't believe the publisher still has this in circulation. I had to get with a Business major tutor to understand the statistics concepts since the explanations didn't make any sense. Hope other students that are required to have this for their HIT program have a much better text to work with.

  • I minored in Math some time ago and am taking a statistics course for review that requires this textbook. I have only gotten through the second chapter, but I am appalled by all of the mistakes. Chapter 1 was not too bad, only a few mistakes in the self-test and chapter test answers. Chapter 2 had extensive mistakes throughout the answers for the self tests and chapter tests. In addition, some of the questions were badly worded. It was exhausting trying to figure out the questions and answers. There was an instance in the reading when "multiple" was used when it should have been "divisor", and there were other areas where sentences did not make sense. If the rest of the book is as bad as chapter 2, it's going to be a long semester. I thought this class would be a easy and fun review, but instead, because of this textbook, it is going to be a tedious chore!

  • This is truly the worst textbook that I have ever used. The book is full of mistakes. The self-tests and the end of the chapter tests are full of errors in the answer sections. I spent days and days working on the self-tests and chapter tests trying to make sure that I understood how to do the calculations, only to repeatedly get answers other than those in the answer keys. Turns out the answer keys are full of wrong answers. This book is demoralizing and undermined my confidence for weeks. This book needs to be taken off the market.

  • I would not recommend this book for ANYBODY, the tab setting is off, the answers are incorrect, it is the Most confusing book I have ever had. I am wondering how to get a refund on this because I went from an A student to a C student because of this book! If you need this for class hopefully you have a helpful teacher. I had to point out several errors to my instructor.

  • I am very pleased with the product and speed of the shipment. Thank you!

  • Great book!

  • Book is very confusing.

  • If you have difficulty figuring out some of the chapter review questions, there is a key in the back of the book..........BUT it FREQUENTLY has the wrong answers in the key! My professor has tried numerous times to get the publisher to issue her the correct answers, but they will not respond to her repeated requests! So bottom line, you cannot rely on the key to help you verify that the answer you came up with is the right answer.
