DNLM: 1. n Questions. 987654321 Preface B lueprints Pediatrics was first published almost 15years ago as part of a series of books designed to help medi- cal students prepare for USMLE Steps 2 and 3. One of the best selling and most highly regarded volumes in the Blueprints series, Blueprints Pediatrics provides students with a concise review of what they need to know in their pediatrics rotation or the Boards. Each chapter is brief and includes pedagogical features such as bolded key words, tables, figures, and key points. A question and answer section at the end of the book presents 100 board-format questions with complete rationales. This edition includes full-color dermatology and infectious disease photographs and multicolored flow diagrams of congenital heart defects.

A companion Website includes a question bank and fully searchable text.

  • i took CK before having finished my pediatrics rotation. i was a little nervous about this prospect, but after reading blueprints, i was well prepared. hit all the high yield points

in typical blueprints fashion, there is a nice assortment of questions and explanations at the end of the book.

great for board review or during your rotation.

  • I was very impressed with the blue prints obgyn book and as such bought the pediatric book from their series. Overall I am pretty disappointed with this book. Its not well written and there are even occasional mistakes. There is alot of focus on minutia with other important points omitted.

  • arrived as expected

  • The book was in great shape but BRS is better

  • I'm using this to supplement PreTest, and it turns out that a lot of what is in PreTest is not remotely to be found in Blueprints.

  • I purchased this book for my peds rotation in third year of medical school and it contained every thing I need to perform successfully. Very detailed for pathology and excellent prep material for Step 2 CK.

  • As described

  • Good book
