This volume of the On My Way with Sesame Street set begins with a letter from the editors, explaining the content and the educational value of it. The book is a bit like a textbook, with various stories and activities, laid out in different ways, that all have a common theme and reinforce one another.

Baby Animals on the Farm: Grover introduces many of the baby animals that have been born this spring, all while searching everywhere for one missing kitten. 10 pages.
True or False: Questions about animals are asked and answered in a "true or false" way. 2 pages.
Animals Under the Sea: A large illustration of creatures that live under water, with labels. 2 pages.
Bert's Poem: A poem about the places that some animals live. Illustration includes a seek-and-find game. 1 page.
Show Me the Way to Go Home: A maze puzzle. 1 page.
Oscar's Yucchy Questions: Questions and answers about animals, with an emphasis on some of their yuckier habits. 1 page.
Grover's Book of Cute Little Baby Animals: Grover has taken out a library book about baby animals, including photographs, and shares it with the reader. 9 pages.
Animals in the Desert/Jungle: An illustration with a caption that lists many of the animals that live in each place. 1 page each.
Big Bird's Trip to the Zoo: A large illustration of a zoo, featuring a number of different zoo animals, labeled. 2 pages.
Bats and... Cats: The Count shares details about bats, while Herry Monster does the same about cats. 1 page each.
Sesame Street Pet Show: Sesame Street favorites show off their pets. Readers are asked to identify the smallest and biggest pets. 2 pages.
The Tail End: Small illustrations are captioned with information on the uses to which some animal's tails are put. 2 pages.
What's for Dinner: Information about what some animals eat. 1 page.
How Do Animals Sleep: Information about how, and sometimes where, several animals sleep. 1 page.

Cute and educational, this book really is like an episode of Sesame Street in a book. You know what those are like, so you know what to expect from this book. If I have any complaint, it's that the first story relies rather heavily on the illustrations. Grover is here, then there, then moving on... and none of that change of scenery is really in the TEXT, it's just in the illustrations. Oh, and who taught these people who to spell "yucky"? Other than that... standard Sesame Street fare! Get the whole set.
