I would expect that a book on physiology would explain the process of digestion, absorption and metabolism in a clearly understandable sequence. This book jumps all over the place; I found it necessary to make notes, then type them up in a logical sequence.

by Jay L. Devore (Author). Perhaps I'm biased, because I had the third worst professor I had ever had teaching probability and statistics, but the fact that he chose this book to teach it with certainly did not help his case. This book is terrible.

My BIO-100 (Intro to Biology) class required to have me buy this book. I person have enjoyed reading the book despite it being a textbook. I especial liked it's layout of the information and how the vocabulary is in bold print making it easy to quickly scan the book and glimmed most the information I needed. I don't plan on sell my book back after this class it is easy enough to read that I plan on keeping it as a ref. book
