  • Although this book is thoroughly informative, it is awful as a textbook for a college class. Or any class for that matter. It is written like a regular book, making it very difficult to find specific information if needed. There is no glossary or index, making it even more difficult. There are no keywords either. I wouldn't recommend this as a textbook, but as a regular book if you just want to learn about race and ethnicity on your own. I considered myself relatively informed about race and ethnicity, but there are a lot of things in this book that are very interesting and go deeper into the topic.

  • Textbook for class. Dry in some places but not as bad as other books I've read!

  • from the authors point of view

  • First of all, I hate that these books are so overpriced! Even for a digital rental. BE WARNED! It is NOT compatible with kindle for Windows 8 (Or Windows 10, for that matter.. Considering that I have Windows 10, and I rented it only to get an error message AFTER the purchase went through that it is not compatible with Windows 8.. ???) I contacted customer service about this issue, and instead of doing anything to try to fix their mistake, I just got a refund, which will take 3 business days to even go through. Just stay way.

  • good book for school

  • Purchased for a class, and rarely used the book.

  • This book is really interesting. In addition, I thought that I would receive it one week after school opening. However, I received it on time. I can't complain.
