Moses "Max" Beer (1864–1943) was an Austrian-born Marxist journalist, economist, and historian. Beer is best remembered as an early writer on the topic of imperialism and for a series of books, published in translation in several countries, which examined the nature of class struggle throughout human history. Moses Beer, known to all by the nickname "Max," was born August 10, 1864 in the small town of Tarnobrzeg, Galicia, which was then part of the Austrian Empire.
Josef Theodor Moroder, also known as the Lusenberger, (28 May 1846 in Urtijëi – 16 February 1939 in Urtijëi) was a painter and sculptor, the most prominent artist of the Moroder family from the Grödenthal in South Tyrol (now the Val Gardena in Italy).

Beautiful and elegant building stands as a remarkable example of Germany's cultural ascent after WWII. Otherwise, after WWII, the building was renovated and reopened in 1963. It was commissioned by the king Maximilian I of Bavaria in 1810 and opened for the first time in 1818. The Opera House is located on the Max-Joseph-Platz, just 370 meters from the city centre.
