  • This book is not in the regular Kindle format. It shows tiny pictures of whole pages and you can't do a thing about it. I am unable to read it on my Kindle Fire. Waste of money!

  • I come from a background where I ave done a LOT of public speaking. This book is spot on. There isn't anyone I know who doesn't have some fears or short comings around this topic. Putting yourself in front of a group of people that you haven't met and don't know can be downright scary. Mr. Singer covers all of the sticking points and stumbling blocks that I have come up against in my years of public speaking. I recommend this book to anyone who is going to be delivering a message or presentation to a group of people. The advice in this book can save you from yourself and put you in the sweet spot of delivering a message that's memorable and engaging.

  • This is also an excellent book covering a subject which many of us fear. Pubic Speaking!! Visualization is one point Mr. Singer stresses. Visualize giving the speech, think of worst case scenarios and make sure that you do something to prevent the worst from happening. He covers the topic of show up earlier for the presentation to ensure that everything is going to plan.

He gives examples of how one should dress. How you should project yourself, if you should stay in one place or walk around and what to do with your hands!

He speaks of make sure you are confident of the subject matter, if not don't do it. You will come across as a phony. He also stress the importance of practice, practice, practice.

I would also highly recommend this book. You will be able to use it over and over and keep it for reference.

  • This is another book in the series for professionals. It is beneficial for those who want to brush up on their speaking abilities and it is also effective for those who are looking for other ideas to freshen their approach. Singer discusses the importance of the opening, the correct use of Power Point presentations, the logistics of speaking, and the proper closing. He also provides a strategy for the always tenuous Questions and Answer session. This is a very useful reference book.

  • Honest and solid suggestions for someone contemplating being a professional speaker.

  • I found this small book to be BIG on ideas for better public speaking. Thom Singer's A to Z approach is intriguing and a quick read. I will go back to this valuable resource again and again!
