A military adventure concocted by ex-Soviets who call themselves the "New World Order" threatens world peace as the rebels hijack a high-tech U.S. warplane and a Russian space station. By the author of Cold Front. Original.
  • The author should spend a few bucks on a decent proofreader if he wants to get past the freebie or budget ebook level. Find someone who knows the difference between a hanger and a hangar, or an ex-patriot and an expatriate. Someone who will correct something like "Je-tRanger." The writing talent is there. The errors really detract from the book.

  • This is a sequel to Lovejoy's Delta Blue. Like it, this is an action-packed story but now set in the years following the Cold War. The technology -- some of which falls into the category of science fiction -- is well described and is a major character in the tale.
I had read this book some years ago as a paperback. When I learned that it was out as a e-book I had to read it again and thoroughly enjoyed the re-read.

  • I enjoy serialized storytelling, so this "part 2" to Delta Blue is right up my reading alley. The high-tech, air and space military adventure moves the reader along smartly. Lovejoy is an ace at telling the battle-torn story, shifting pace nicely so the reader is drawn into the action.

  • I am not quite finished yet but, unless Lovejoy trips over a box of dumb this will be another excellent book. I am hooked on this guy.

  • After reading Delta Green, I immediately went online and found every other Lovejoy novel I could find and read every one of them within a month. I greatly enjoyed them all, and will be looking for the next installment of this enjoyable series! Great writing, enjoyable characters, and such wonderful fun!
