From Atlantis to Avalon. Clearly there was a connection between Atlantis and Avalon

From Atlantis to Avalon. In Marion Zimmer Bradley’s The Mists of Avalon, Igraine recollects a past life in which she and Uther were a priest and priestess of Atlantis and watched the building of Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain. Such a notion is not, of course, original. English folklore is rife with reference to lost civilizations. Clearly there was a connection between Atlantis and Avalon. For the Tor, The Lake Villages of Somerset by Stephen Minnitt and John Coles; John Michell’s New Light on the Ancient Mystery of Glastonbury; and the books on Glastonbury by Nicholas Mann are recommended.

Hence no Introduction to the book: John Michell as quoted in & Michell: From Atlantis to Avalon' by Paul Screeton). M. creeton also approvingly and most aptly endorses Laurel Schreiber's summation of the book: & describing unconventional behaviour and beliefs the author gives us a chance to re-examine conventional reason. There is a fine cast of stubborn individualists here prepared to risk money, sanity, relationships and goodness knows what else in the pursuit of a vision out of time, or before their time or ahead of time or all three at the same time.
