From Atlantis to Avalon. In Marion Zimmer Bradley’s The Mists of Avalon, Igraine recollects a past life in which she and Uther were a priest and priestess of Atlantis and watched the building of Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain. There is a fine cast of stubborn individualists here prepared to risk money, sanity, relationships and goodness knows what else in the pursuit of a vision out of time, or before their time or ahead of time or all three at the same time.
