He has taught not only at the undergraduate and graduate college levels, but he has also taught middle school, high school, vocational school, and adult education.

The Rockswold/Krieger algebra series fosters conceptual understanding by using relevant applications and visualization to show students why math matters. It answers the common question When will I ever use this? Rockswold teaches students the math in context, rather than including the applications at the end of the presentation.

Student Solutions Manual for Beginning and Intermediate Algebra with Applications &Visualization by. Gary K. Rockswold, Terry A. Krieger.

Some like edge wear on bottom right corner in an otherwise very clean book. The price was incredible through the rental program and is one of the ways that we can get the book we needed without breaking the bank or taking out excessive loans.

Terry Krieger has taught mathematics for 18 years at the middle school, high school, vocational, community college . This "visualization" of Algebra book does very well for me as a reminder of what I may be forgetting or leaving out when I work on more complex modelling situations.

The Rockswold/Krieger algebra series fosters conceptual understanding by using relevant applications and visualization to show students why math matters. It answers the common question “When will I ever use this?” Rockswold teaches students the math in context, rather than including the applications at the end of the presentation. By seamlessly integrating meaningful applications that include real data and supporting visuals (graphs, tables, charts, colors, and diagrams), students are able to see how math impacts their lives as they learn the concepts. The authors believe this approach deepens conceptual understanding and better prepares students for future math courses and life.

  • It's an Algebra book. There's Algebra in it and it was necessary in order to get the class done. The price was incredible through the rental program and is one of the ways that we can get the book we needed without breaking the bank or taking out excessive loans. The book was delivered quickly and was in great condition.

  • This book arrived on time and after opening the box anyone would think twice about this book being used. The condition was great, i found one little abrasion on the side but that's barely noticeable and barely takes away from the book itself. This book came with the applications and Access card that I can use to study with on my computer if the material in the text book is misleading or a little tough but honestly, i flipped through the book and made the assumption that my freshman math class may not be all that bad. This book may actually help me to become better at algebra.

  • This textbook is more than what I expected. It is what the University of Phoenix uses with their beginning and intermediate math classes. The authors are quite thorough and offer examples with solutions to help the reader understand the contents of their book. I do not do well with math, let alone algebra; however, I highly recommend this textbook.

  • Book was better than expected and brand new. Couldn't beat the price. I would order from this seller again.

  • This book was excellent for the course's mandated materials. It has every answer to every quiz problem from the chapter in the back of the book, comes with CDs for the extra resources (if your book includes them), and also works online if you have to purchase the online keycode. I understood this book well and it got me through my courses with an "A" for being very easy to read and understand.

  • I've read sections from many math texts, and I just have to say; no math text has even come close to laying down the solid Algebraic foundation that this book does. I was able to use this book for two quarters of Algebra, and one quarter of Pre-Calculus. I'm currently in Trigonometry right now, and I still use it as a reference guide. It encompasses more than enough examples, plenty of exercises, and a heap of illustrations that aid both students new to Algebra and experienced veterans brushing up on their current mathematical skills.

    Really Awesome Book!!

  • The looked used and access code was missing. This wasn’t mentioned when I ordered it.
