I'm Steve and I'm from Vancouver, Canada. I love books and I love to read, constantly and about a variety of topics, from fiction to non-fiction-I get curious about so many things and books provide my means to explore that curiosity.

  • This book has many inspiring stories in it. I keep it in my bathroom as a book for meditating on a short story. Steve Goodier has a Godly approach to his stories and if you need a quick pick me up, this is the book to have handy to read. I highly recommend it.

  • I've had this book on my shelf for nearly two decades. During that time I referred to it occasionally, mostly to find some good anecdotes that I could use when teaching at our church or occasionally to provide examples for what I was writing. Finally after all this time I got around to reading this book systematically from cover to cover. It was well worth it. The little stories and vignettes take about a minute to read. The author, Steve Goodier, comes at his material with a godly perspective and does so without being preachy.

  • I bought this book about 15 years ago because I needed good anecdotes to weave into my speaking and writing. Recently I started rereading the short stories which take about a minute to read. They are unique and as good as I remembered. Steve Goodier has a godly perspective which I appreciate. He is not preachy.
