  • One of the worst written text books I have ever been forced to trudge through. Information is piled on in page long paragraphs and the material all blends together. No points stand out as any more important than the other and the others basically just list countries and what type of organizations they have there and what attacks in history these orginizations have carried out. Repeat that in every chapter and there yoi have it. I would rather stay in Guantanomo Bay for a week then suffer through this book again.

  • This textbook has the focus you expect from a high school research paper. The only difference is that the authors of Terrorism Today use elevated language and esoteric, arcane references, so uncovering any points in this book is extremely laborious at best. Most of it is nothing more than a series of polysyllabic ramblings. One of the most upsetting aspects of it is that the authors make outrageous claims about the motives and psyches of various groups, but they don't back up their claims, and they're obviously not psychologists. I generously gave it two stars because it does contain well hidden bits of information here and there; good luck finding them.

  • This was necessary reading for a Criminal Justice course. The end.

  • Wow! This book will not be getting sold back at the end of my school term, as it has earned a place on my bookshelf forever! There is so much great information within this book that I think it will be a valuable asset to me in the future. I can see myself using this as a reference for future papers and research.

  • Good text for the higher levels (MSCJA degree). Quite detailed. Enjoyed and learned a lot with the course.

  • School book, yay

  • I have two undergraduate degrees and a law degree. I've had to buy an incredible amount of textbooks. This is the worst written and most overpriced textbook I've ever had to suffer through.

I bought this book because it was required for a class I'm taking. I would NEVER recommend this book. This book is in dire need of an editor. Some highlights: politicians are called, "brain dead politicians." According to the book, Kristalnacht happened in July 1933. According to accurate accounts elsewhere, Kristalnacht happened November 9-10, 1938. Roma are referred to by the derogatory term "gypsies."

There's no excuse for such glaring errors in a textbook - especially an overpriced textbook such as this.

If you don't have to buy it, DON'T! It's not worth the money and it's a waste of time to read it.

  • Awesome book to read--- I am not sure if is still available.
