  • I ordered this particular edition because it is the textbook chosen by our class instructor (who holds a ph.d in demography);therefore, I had to assume it was the best available. It certainly proved to be very helpful in my class. Although perhaps the statistics are a bit outdated, they are accurate and can be used for comparisons and for the actual learning experience. It is a good book and I recommend it.

  • Good book

  • Although my dog chewed it up, the book itself was wonderful.

  • This is the best demography/ populations studies book that I have seen. The author explains theories, concepts, and popular formulas of measurement in a concise and applicable way. The book is very enjoyable to read and the examples are interesting and memorable. This book should be saved so that it can be referenced as needed in the future. I am very glad to have this text on my shelf.

  • I bought this book because I am planning to study demography and I had already read an online copy. I am kind of an old soul who likes the paper version, so I ordered through this seller. It was at a great price and the book came in good conditions. Thank you!

  • This is an excellent and clear book on demography that has been around for years and is a good introduction to the topic.

  • I would like to start that I purchased a school textbook for about half the retail price from this seller. The book I ordered came three days earlier than amazon said it would. Great price, and a quick delivery. Will order from this seller again.
