Our information culled from old records is that author Hollister had this book printed and published in Denver, but before he had sold more than 250 or so of the 500 printed, a fire in the building where the books were stored destroyed all that were left. If this account is correct, and there is reason to believe that it is, not many copies of that first edition are around. Book collectors believe this to be one of the most rare of the early books dealing with Navajo weaving. Well illustrated, with 10 vivid color plates. 176 pages. 8 1/2" x 11". Hardcover only.
