A perfectly silly book, but hilarious in its own way, and what more can you ask from two brothers who address one another as ""Knucksie"" or ""Knucks""?

Philip Henry Niekro (pronounced NEE-kro) (born April 1, 1939), nicknamed "Knucksie", is an American former baseball pitcher who played 24 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), 20 of them with the Milwaukee, Atlanta Braves. Niekro's 318 career victories are the most by a knuckleball pitcher and rank 16th on MLB's all-time wins list. He won the National League (NL) Gold Glove Award five times, was selected for five All-Star teams, and led the league in victories twice and earned run average once

Niekro pitched for the Chicago Cubs, San Diego .

Niekro pitched for the Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres and Detroit Tigers with occasional success before joining Phil with the Atlanta Braves in 1973. Joe used a fastball and a slider early in his career, with mixed results.

This book is a diary of the 1985 season from Phil Niekro's perspective

This book is a diary of the 1985 season from Phil Niekro's perspective. A solid book that gives the reader an inside look at the Yankees failed attempt to overcome the Blue Jays to win the 1985 AL East division (not making the post-season in spite of the 4th best record in baseball). We are treated to George Steinbrenner battling Dave Winfield and Billy Martin in the press. Niekro watches from afar as Martin's gets into bar fights with strangers and his own pitcher (Ed Whitson) in consecutive evenings.

Phil Niekro's autographed memorabilia is very affordable for a 300-win pitcher. He has been a frequent participant in regional and national sports collectibles conventions. Signed baseballs are usually the preferred piece of memorabilia collectors pursue. Phil Niekro Rookie Card. 1964 Topps Phil Niekro RC The card back features an orange color that is prone to showing edge and corner wear. This is unfortunate because it can often drop the value of the card considerably. This is true even if the front of the card looks perfect or nearly perfect.
