A biography of the major league pitcher who holds the record for the most wins by a southpaw
  • NO COMPLAINTS. GOOD JOB. EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY. THE BOOK ARRIVED ON TIME AND IN THE CONDITION IT WAS DESCRIBED.
    THANK YOU,
    ROGER

  • I liked this book because it gives a concise review of the remarkable career of Warren Spahn. I saw him pitch a couple of times. My only disappointment about the book is it was not mentioned that Spahn pitched in what is perhaps the best baseball game ever pitched. He was pitted up against the San Francisco Giants and their star hurler Juan Marichal. Both pitchers went 16 innings and both threw over 200 pitches. Willie Mays ended the game with a homer off of Spahn.
If you love baseball stories about the all time great players of yesteryear you will love this book. Enjoy!
