  • I bought the gift for my sister-in-law for xmas. She is becoming a track coach in the spring time, but has never coached before, so i thought it would be funny to get for her. I looked the book over and it does have a lot of good information. Being a runner and a cross country coach I thought it had really good info for a beginner.

  • I wanted to take up running in order to help me lose weight. There is one sentence in the book about how running will help you lose weight. Much of the book is filler talk, and much of it is geared for those who want to enter races. I don't want to run in competitions. This is not the book for couch potatoes who are trying to change their body.

  • Rec'd this quickly and condition was as described. Now just need to start running. I think that will be the hardest part!

  • Just a gag gift for someone who doesn't like to run, but they liked it. And it shipped fast.........
