  • I've read it five times. I think it is extraordinary, and does not compare to any other book I've ever read.. The characters of the boy and of the villain are real, living breathing people. It is harrowing, shocking and emotionally stirring - and always brings me to tears.

  • A man can be both father and mother to children that need that.

  • A clanging duel of wits between a brilliant twelve year old orphan with the keys to an enormous fortune and the diabolical Nazi hunters whom he can never quite shake off. The boy's James Bondesque escapes are just this side of impossible, tho always highly entertaining. I was most saddened when the Hispano Suiza motorcar was blown up. A movie was made from this book, which I would like to see.

  • I loved reading this book. This book is extensive like Charles Dickens, Oliver Twist. It is a book that should be savored and re-read. Because you will get more details from this book with each re-reading.
    I thoroughly enjoyed Thomas Sangster in Entrusted. He is a great young actor. But with the highest respect to the actor, the movie does not hold a candle to Daddy by Loup Durand. Read this book, I cannot say enough good things about the story. I hope it finds a new life as a Kindle book. Thank You Loup Durand for a great story.
