Diversity Within The .Fesko argued for 'continuity' of the tread of Reformed doctrine on predestination in light of the infralapsarianism vs supralapsarianism in Calvin, Dort, and Westminster Confession of Faith. The somewhat 'discontinuity' in the post-reformation for Fesko is nothing but a 'moderation' of the reformation. Is Calvin a supralapsarian? Is Augustine a supralasaprian? Why would they sometimes use seemingly infralapsarian mode of argument while in another place taught supralapsarian-like doctrines?

In Diversity within the Reformed Tradition, which is essentially his doctoral the-sis submitted to the University of Aberdeen, Fesko first explains the meaning of supralapsarian and infralapsarian predestination. This underlying unity leads to Fesko’s second conclusion, that supra- and infralapsarians viewed one another as orthodox and sometimes even recognized that the two views are not mutually exclusive.
