At times this type of debate is well informed, but sometimes it is based on myths and prejudice. vi. 8 Foreword The Institute offers Ethnicity, Identity and Public Policy: Critical Perspectives on Multiculturalism as a resource to inform and facilitate public discussion. We hope it will assist New Zealanders to talk with, rather than past, each other about population diversity and public policy.
