  • This book arrived quickly and it was in phenomenal condition! This book and the first volume were some of my favorites from childhood.. some of my best memories are of all the images my mind conjured up as I read these stories.. and the illustrations have stuck with me my whole life too.. so.. excellent book, wonderful buying experience. I'd give 10 stars if I could. :)

  • This is a excellent fairy tale book if you are looking for one for a little older child. It is the original tales so it is not all happy ending. My sister had me read books to her when we were little and this was her favorite book. I had to read "Dancing Shoes" over and over. I was happy to see you could still get this book.

  • I have had this book since my kids were babies. My granddaughter wanted a copy so I was very happy to have found it. It was in excellent condition.

  • Was looking for the 1st edition published in 1967 with red cover and 832 pages whereas I received a newer version with green cover. Not happy.

  • I love the stories in this book and had them as a child so, I had to buy them for my child to read too.

  • I grew up reading this book, read it to my daughter as she grew up and she is reading it to her children. My copy had ended up missing some pages when I had it, so we read around those stories. Now though, with this new copy we can read the missing stories to my grandchildren, along with all my favorites. Definitely not the Disney versions.

  • My mom and dad used to read this to me as a child. I love the ability to read it to my children now. Great stories as they were told originally.

  • Awesome! This is a book my sister-in-law had (and lost) as a little girl. Being able to replace it was a wonderful feeling!
