This is indeed a strange collection, there are only one or two stories that I can say I liked. The forward by Nisha Susan says how each stories contributes to 'Excess'- an inference that turns out to be very far-fetched. Manjula Padmanabhan's Feast and Brinda Charry's Thirteen.
