Both being strong, compelling and believable female characters. i love Lynda La Plante Books but Widows is one that i had not read yet, i grew up knowing the T:V show was legendary and Ann Mitchell was an icon as Dolly Rawlins it wasn't until recently that i picked up Widows in the book store and thought i'm having that and from the very first page i loved.
