  • Great history read

  • Fascinating story of Shane O'Neill, Prince of Ulster and contemporary of Queen Elizabeth I. The O'Neill was a handsome, charismatic warrior/king with a vision of a once-again united Ireland whose combined strength would enable them to repel the invading English (or, as the Great O'Neill referred to them, the Sassenachs).

Many great battle scenes featuring Ulstermen, Scots, English & Irish.
