Book by Leslie, Jack
  • Fascinating portrayal of the crimes described... by the defendants, the media, and the law enforcement. This novel really blurs the lines of right and wrong on so many sides. One of the defendants described was my wife's grandfather. I have always held out that he was guilty as charged, but this book really makes me think that, even though guilty of all crimes, he wasn't tried fairly. Guilty by the media... Guilty by association... Begs the question, are heinous actions guilty of crime?

  • Book wasn't very specific about what happened and where. I live in the area it took place so wanted more specifics! Very unsatisfactory ends to their crimes!

  • Good book!
