Over the years, the hospital established a nursing school, became a pioneer in technological advances, and grew into a major medical center providing diversified care at over fifty Middle Tennessee locations. The numerous community outreach programs are profiled, along with the important role of volunteers. Many Nashville celebrities, including well known country music personalities and sports figures have become part of the Baptist family, and the history highlights their connection and importance to the hospital.
