The eighth book in The Good Girlz series from national bestselling author ReShonda Tate Billingsley.Seniors rule the school . . . High school is coming to a close for the Good Girlz, and it couldn’t end on a better note: Camille, Angel, Alexis, and Jasmine are ecstatic to discover they’ve all been accepted to the same Texas university! Prairie View A&M, watch out: there will be four inseparable friends on campus come September, and between the cute guys, the Greek parties—oh, and the cool classes, of course—their good times will just be beginning. But college has all new rules. Just when things should be falling into place, there is more uncertainty—and more drama—than ever: Alexis passed up an Ivy League scholarship to go to PV, but a summer scandal may bar her from college entirely. Jasmine’s struggling to nail the final exams on which her future depends . . . and Angel stuns everyone with her plans to move to Dallas with her new boyfriend. They may have their diplomas, but these girls have a lot to learn about relying on their faith—and each other—when facing life’s tough decisions.
  • Daughter loved this series

  • I love Reshonda Tate Billingsley's Good Girlz books! This one is by far the best!

I love Jasmine's story in this book! It reminds us that the quickest way to finish is not always the right way. I was happy with her decision. Everyone needs someone like Jasmine's grandmother in their corner! I felt bad for Angel. She has low self-esteem and was so easily swayed by her so-called boyfriend! She grew up again in this book.

  • This is one of the best teen aged book series I've ever read and I'm happy to pass on to my grandchildren. I enjoy all this writer's works for teens and for adults.

  • I love the good girlz series! I have all and they are so interesting big thumbs up

  • great book

    recommend this book: YES!!
The good grilz series books were good.

  • I like this book a lot and it teaches us girls what to do and what not to do in our dramatic life.

  • Senior year is here and members of Good Girlz Camille, Angel, Alexis, and Jasmine in Drama Queens (Good Girlz) by Reshonda Tate Billingsley are looking forward to the future—mainly attending college together. First, they must rise above the drama that enters their lives this year. The novel progresses via the alternating perspectives of the four girls, which grasps your attention as the author gives the reader a birds-eye-view of each girl’s personal struggles. Billingsley walks the characters through temptations and problems teens encounter, while unobtrusively weaving God’s principles into the storyline.

Tough as nails, with a background to match, Jasmine will be the first person in her family to attend college, if she conquers her studies and manages to stay the course in spite of her difficult home life. Her other challenge: money for college. Jasmine’s family struggles to keep up with the basic day-to-day needs. Money for college is out of the question. Alexis, smart and kind, always tries to do the right thing. Groomed to attend an Ivy League school by her middleclass parents, she desperately wants to go to college with her girls, not the school where her father has already arranged for her acceptance. She does something that may haunt her in the future and shocks her parents and friends.

Angel, teen mother of the group, loves her little girl but the responsibility sets her apart from the carefree lives her friends enjoy. Beautiful and shy, weighed down with insecurities, she does not share with her family or friends that she has a new boyfriend. One with characteristics she suspects they would not approve of. Clean, entertaining, and loaded with faith-filled messages teens can apply to their lives, Reshonda Tate Billingsley’s Drama Queens (Good Girlz) shows teens how to handle the drama in their lives.
