Ghosts ruin everything, especially your love life. So that tells you something about how much I ADORE I read The Mediator Series in middle school, so so many years ago. Coming back to Suze and Jesse and the mediator business is like going back to how I felt when I had all the time in the world to read five books at a time in less than a week's time. But after a cross-country move to sunny California, Suze is looking forward to a fresh start and a life free of spectral interventions. Too bad Suze can't escape the undead that easily.

I've been avoiding Meg Cabot books for years because I always thought they would rely too heavily on teenage romance and angst. Well, I'm not really ready to try any of her other series yet, but I am so glad that I found this one. It's just straight-up good sci-fi. I absolutely love it and only regret that there aren't more books in the series. Nextian, January 21, 2016.

Suze is a mediator—a liaison between the living and the dead. In other words, she sees dead people. And they won't leave her alone until she helps them resolve their unfinished business on earth. But after a cross-country move to sunny California, Suze is looking forward to a fresh start and a life free of spectral interventions.

Too bad Suze can't escape the undead that easily. She might not mind Jesse, the sexy ghost who haunts her bedroom, but there are plenty of other poltergeists out there with less friendly intentions. Some of them are out for revenge...of the murderous kind. And Suze might be the only one who can stop them.

Binge-read the first two books in the New York Times bestselling Mediator series in this bind-up, from the author of The Princess Diaries.

  • This is my favorite book and series by my favorite author. This is a great book for readers 12 and up that was the age I discovered these treasures. As a 20 year old I still enjoy re-reading it on occasion. ive had to replace my own copy several times because I gave it too much love.

  • This is no doubt the best book I have ever read, and the best series I have ever read. Read all of them, not just this one. Overall this is a good read for those who love the paranormal with a good sense of humor.
